She was moving frantically and did not know what to do in life next. Her mother died and then her father died. She had to feed her little brother too. She kept asking for domestic jobs and no one cared. She did not even know what to do at a tender age of 15. So finally one day she sat down and wondered what could she do. She was not having a job and she had to feed two stomachs. After thinking for hours and hours, one gentleman asked came and asked her what was she waiting for and she said money. So that she could buy some food. So he gave her food for two people and then he asked her what she wanted to do. She again had same thought process but she had to say something, may be it could change her life. So she looked at her brother and she knew, she could take care of babies. So he asked if she would take care of his as well. She knew what she had to do. This gentleman was an answer to all her prayers and all her contemplation. She got the job and in few years she opened her own play school. She had learned that day that before taking any step and running here and there frantically, she had to spend time with herself, think what she wanted and then get it.
More over, why do we have to wait for the time when we are stuck in life? We need to take this walk within regularly. Why we have to lose the way and then struggle to find a way. A walk within will always guide us.
So what shall we do?
Take some time out.
Sit quietly, if possible at a quiet place, with a quit mind or in some quiet time.
Ask yourself, where I am headed.
Ask yourself, how far I have come?
Ask yourself where I want to reach?
Ask yourself, if I am happy?
Ask yourself if there is something more you want from life.
Ask yourself, what will give you more peace.
Ask yourself, How you can make it better for others too.
Ask yourself, what is your gift.
Ask yourself, doing what will make you happy?
Ask yourself, are you happy?
Ask yourself, what are you doing for your inner growth as well as outer growth?
(Outer growth does not happen, without inner growth)
You may not get the answers immediately but gradually you will start getting everything and soon, you will see that everything is falling into place.
