One businessman asked his son to go and see who is selling best water melons in the village. The identifies one and starts researching one. Son also heard about a competition, in which the villager was giving free water melons to kids and the competition was about who would eat most. The son came back and told everything to his father. After few years, the son went again to search for that. He heard that the villager had died and now, his son manages the business. So he met the son. But he was surprised to see that, his son no longer could sell the best fruits. Also there was no fun in the competition. HE really wanted to know, so he started enquiring. He got to know that the father and son always use the seeds saved from the competition to regrow their crop. As rest of the seeds were sold inside the water melon. So the father farmer used to give best water melons to eat to kids in competition, so in turn he used to get seeds of best fruits to regrow best. But his son, started giving smallest fruits in the competition, thus using the seeds of smallest ones to regrow. So year after year, the quality of watermelons from his field kept falling. The son came and shared entire episode with his businessman father.
His father smiled and took his hand in his own hands. He said that this is what I want you to learn. Whatever we are giving whether it is in business or in charity or in anyway, should always be the best one. It is sowing the seeds of our future. If you want to have better fruits, give your best of you have. Whatever you will give, it will come back to you like a big crop.
So please share what all you have. Please give the best. Do not give the food to poor which you cannot eat any more (So many times, I have seen people giving one week old refrigerated food and sweets to servants), please do not give badly tarred clothes to others, have some respect for them, share good and get good!
