One gentleman called up, he said that I have a very dull life. I asked him to explain his daily routine. He said that he wakes up around 9 am, sits in balcony and then will have his tea. Then he reads the news paper as it is always good to stay updated, then he lies down or will have another cup of tea. Then he will have his lunch and it will be time for his afternoon nap. When he wakes up, he has to take work calls and after 2-3 hours of calls, he would eat his dinner, go for a walk and sleep. His age was 42. Ok, and how much money do you make. He said that his wife is working too and they hardly meet their ends as it is another point of frustration. And what’s your wife’s routine? Well, she does not have time for me. She is super busy ( As per me she will be because she is filling up for two people at home as well as for money). She wakes up, send my son to school and then starts preparing food. Then she rushes for office and in the evening when she comes back, she prepares food in jiffy, which might include noodles and then helps my son in his studies. After that she is so tired that she goes to bed. And can’t you help her in any of these things? HE said that it was not his forte!
How can a man who spends all his day doing nothing expects his life to be exciting.
So what do we need to do?
We need to keep doing things. We need to have something to look forward to, even if it’s a job or a plant or anything. We need to get up and start doing things. Without that we will never have excitement in life.
We need to make a difference in own life and other’s life. I asked him what if I remove you from your wife’s life or your son’s life and he started laughing. He said that may be her some burden will get reduced. Without doing things, we can never make a difference. So start doing things for self and others too.
Keep doing new things as well. It will always bring in new energy. Make a picture, get a new plant, go and help some children in orphanage or anything which is close to your heart.
This Earth is a land of Karma and we cannot waste it without doing karma. The only way to grow in life is to do Karma with happiness, gratitude and positive intentions.
