One priest was entering to the temple and by change his foot stuck a sleeping poor child. The priest made a bad face saying, just now I woke up and I have touched this poor fellow, I will have to start everything again. The child got tears in his eyes and apologized. He said that he was hungry but did not know when he slept off there. Wondered what we are waking upto?
To a religion which was designed so that we can be guided on the path of love or to love. Because over the time the path has been lost. It is more confined to rituals and customs and beliefs rather than the purpose. It is like someone entered into the kitchen to cook a meal for the whole family but binged on snacks and came back.
We all are just busy around. I will not say that these customs have no values, they might have but only if they are backed by good intentions of love. They are backed by good intentions of meeting God and be on that path. What if the intention now only is to follow them? Then we will just keep following without reaching anywhere and we will keep taking rounds and rounds of everything.
Our every scripture talks about presence of God in each and everything. It talks about everything is God then? Do we actually have an intention to reach to our destination? That is to reach to who we are, meeting own self. But then on the way we also have to realize everyone and everything is God, so everything is equally dear to God. It’s like for a parent in the house, all the children and whole house is dear. If one child is hurt, parents get hurt. So if one child in this world gets hurt, the big parent gets hurt too. He can be happy, which means we only can be happy if all the kids are happy. That can happen only when we are following everything to love rather than just to follow.
Wake up and wake up really to who you are. Wake up to love and to live rather than just to breathe. We do not ahve an option. Humanity has to wake up. That’s the only way to reach to destination.
