Recently two cases came which proved the power of love and how much we suffer in the absence of love.
A 9 years old wad adopted from an orphanage and there the child had performed really average in everything at school. However, in the new loving environment at new home, the child really blossomed. He improved in studies and support and 2-3 years, he was in the toppers list. His new parents always saw his better side and they showed him same. He kept improving and kept becoming better.
A gentleman wanted to commit suicide as his wife somewhere was killing his confidence everyday. When they got married, he was working and earning handsomely. Everyday, she would criticize him on one or another thing and after 3 years of marriage he left the job. He just did not feel any strength to goto office and after that he felt further wasted. Lack of love in the relationship, took him down.
If we really want to help someone, we want to accept someone, we can do that only when we see everything with love. Love makes us see the positive and better side. Ego will always make us see lesser side. Because it wants to prove that the other person is lesser or lacking something.
We need to sit and do an analysis that how we are treating our loved ones. If we are treating them with love or ego. If it’s ego, we are doing no good to anyone. If we are treating with love, we are helping everyone. How do we do that?
If by thinking of that person, it brings all his shortcomings in mind, we know where we are headed. If thoughts of that person brings his qualities in mind, we know what’s happening. So we need to see what we are doing. It’s not about who the other person is. It’s about, how we want to be.
