I went to meet a gentleman but while entering his office I saw him shouting at one of his employees. I happened to know him as I had worked with him few years back for an assignment. So I took the liberty of asking him what’s happening? He said that this worker is so stupid and he does not know how to work properly. When I see him, he drives me crazy. I lose my temper when I see his work. Then let him go, why do you have to shout at him? He said that where do we get low paid employees these days. So it is my situation that I have to work with such people. So you need to have him because you need him, then you should treat him with the respect. Or is it the frustration that you cannot hire quality employees which comes out in this poor fellow. He was shocked to hear this. He accepted that it is both. But have you thought from his perspective, how much he has to suffer. Everytime you meet him, you break his confidence. Would this help him or would it demotivate him? Or let me ask you this, do you think it is helping either of you? You also get more frustrated, you lose your mental peace and it reminds you everytime that you cannot get good employees. So you shouting at him is not helping him anywhere. He asked that what should be done? Well, you have hired him and it is your responsibility to groom him, train him and some children are fast learner and some are slow learner. We need to treat them with patience. Similarly, you need to treat him with patience. BE such a mentor to him that for whole life he would be thanking you. Be a blessing to him rather than being a curse. He should remember you with smile and gratitude rather than thinking of you with hatred. Every moment gone would never be return and the life lived in that moment will also never return. We shall be a blessing in every moment of the Universe rather than a curse. You will be a blessing and you will receive more blessings. You will be a curse and you will receive more curses. After one month he called up to thank as that employee was improving and performing much better. He did not have to shout at him any more as he was already careful. Infact as he was working without fear of being shouted at, so his work also improved a lot.

This moment will never return. You will never be who you are in this moment. Be a blessing to everyone you meet.
We meet so many people everyday. They might not be financially equal to us like beggars, servants or it could be anyone. They might be younger than us in age who are bound to keep their mouth shut in front of us as we have taught them to respect their elders. But nothing makes anyone lesser human being. We have no right to disrespect anyone irrespective of gender, caste, religion, finance or anything in the world. As an individual everyone is equal. So we must treat them equal. Along with that, it is our choice, what we want to leave behind because every moment is passing and in next moment this moment will be gone. Along with that gone will be the opportunity to make things better for this world. We do not have to do very big things or take care of many people. All we have to do is, whom so ever we are meeting, we can make their life better. In order to do that, we just have to remind ourselves, when that moment leave, when that gentleman leaves, we have made things better for him. We have been his blessing in this busy world. He was better after leaving us. If we have nothing to contribute to his life, we can contribute a genuine smile and that itself will bring a change in him. Rest we have many things to give. We can share knowledge, money, efforts, love and we can keep sharing.
