I went to a park and saw a huge crowd. I asked a person that what was this all about. He said that there is an astrologer here and he is telling genuine things about people. That is why he has a big crowd around him. So as soon as we get to hear something about our past, future or who we are we get inquisitive. We want to know more and more of who we are. This is inbuilt in us. Whatever we do in life, whatever stage we progress into, we keep discovering about self more and more. But do we become something new which we were not or we just found out more with time, who we are. It cannot be possible. I remember one Tennis player saying that when I was six years old and I picked up ball first time, my coach said that, I have never seen a sex years old picking up ball like this. We become who we are. It is like we get ice from water as it already existed in it in different conditions. You cannot get ice from something else. Water already had that. So whatever we do in life, we get to know more about self. A mother of two said that until I gave birth to my children I did not know, I could be a good mother. So discovered her that side after becoming a mother. One gentleman when he was 5 years old said that I would become a big businessman and his family doubted because everyone was into job in his family. When he was 30, he had his business running in multiple countries. He said that though I had set my goal but without achieving this, I could not know if I could actually become one. So this life is about discovering who we already are and by becoming who we are. But then where does this journey lead us to? This is a very big question!
Yes this journey is about discovering who we already are. But then who we are….lots of things started opening up after that. Its a soul which is inhabiting a body. This body dies and the soul lives on. The soul is eternal. It is never born or it never dies. One which is born has to die. The body is born and soul uses it as its vehicle to move along in this journey. But what is eternal? Only God is eternal. So is this soul God? Because only God can be eternal. The real me is soul and this soul is eternal and only God can be eternal, so this soul is God. If I am only soul not this body then I am God too. So this journey of self discovery is about this! To know who really i am. i am the one. So all that which read somewhere I am the I am, I am one with God and many things like that started making sense. So this the journey of a soul is about discovery or realizing that I am the one. I am not one with God. I am the God! But is it ego. No, if it would be ego then the journey has not completed yet. It is about love. This path is of love not of darkness. It is about shedding every darkness to see the light within. That is why it is called as enlightenment!
