A girl was carrying a bag full of toffees in her bag and I asked her if she loved toffees so much. She said that yes I like them but not as much as that I have to keep a bag full with me. She kept on explaining. She said that I give them to small children who come begging. While we were talking, a child came to her and asked for money. She gave him toffee and he threw them back on her face. She did not say anything. I asked her what happened? She said that it is fine. I give them all day, some accept it, some do not. But it does not mean I stop giving to those who would smile by receiving them. She said that I think from my heart not from my mind. If I would listen to my mind, I would stop doing such thing because it would make me feel bad. But if I think from heart, I would like to do as it makes so many children smile. More over, i did not start on the order of my mind. I started this because my heart asked. I was so awe stuck by her feelings and thoughts.
So many times we snub our heart’s voice because our mind is saying something otherwise. But in reality, divine resides in heart. Mind has ego too and when we let mind choose over heart, we let ego choose over divine. Divine speaks through our heart. SO take decisions as per heart. It follows love. take decisions for love. If your heart says help people, help them. If your heart says do something do it. If it is from heart it would never be wrong. Mind can be wrong because it has ego but heart cannot be wrong because it has love and love can never be wrong. Follow your heart, follow love. Heart connects you to divine. Heart makes you divine.
