I was sitting in a park lost in myself. One small girl came to me and asked me why are you sad? Before I could say anything, she herself gave answer to her own question. Do you know God is sending you love right now. I wondered and asked her how? She said that close your eyes and spread your arms. You would receive it. Before i could do that, she spread her arms and started smiling. She said that God just hugged me and and loved me. I wondered about her experience and asked her, did she see God? How does she say this? (It reminded me of my childhood stories that children are very innocent and when they ask for anything from such a pure heart, they get it) She said that my mommy says, whenever you feel lonely, low in strength, no one loves you, you just have to ask god and he would come and hug us love us, give us strength. he would be walking by our side and we would never be alone. It made me further curious and I asked her, have you ever seen God? She said though I have never seen but my mommy says that it can never happen that if we ask for something, he does not hear it. So I have to believe that he has given me. i am happy and smiling because I know he is sending love to me. I wondered within myself that if she was opening up new chapter of faith for me!
So here is what I learned:
If you love someone or you love your child very dearly, and he comes to you and says, no one loves me, no one supports me, everyone is against me, then how would you feel? You would feel that I have been doing so much for him and he still says this. He never realizes my love for him. It would make you sad. We all keep doing that. So how would God feel? Why can’t we simply trust that he is there and sending us love. Why can’t we say please hug me, when we need strength. Why can’t we say hold my hand when we are scared?
God is my love
God is my strength
God is my happiness
God is my blessing
God is my abundance
Spread your arms and you would receive it. He is waiting for you!
