One little boy asked me once that why people fall ill?
His mother was suffering from fever so his question was relevant. We fall ill because we do not focus on health. We focus on preventing illness. We take medicines to avoid illness but we do very little to stay healthy.
So how can i stay healthy all my life?
1. First of all you need to think that you will be healthy all your life. We are told that in old age we get hounded by many diseases and it is not necessary. We are told so, so we invite many diseases.
2. Be grateful for a great health today and be grateful for a great health till the end of your life. Why do you have to think that you would fall ill, why cannot you think that you will be healthy till the last day of your life.
So how do I think that I can be healthy till the last day of my life?
It reminded me of my little experiment. For one year every morning I would wake up and thank for a great, happy and healthy day. I would thank for a healthy body. The result was that I did not fall sick in that one year. Once my whole family had fever and I did not. They asked me that what do you do differently than us that you are healthy and answer was I thank everyday for my great health.
How does it help?
1. In our body and life, everything is managed by mind. When we are thanking for a healthy day and life, we are setting up a belief system that my day and life would be healthy. So our mind starts creating healthy day for us.
2. When we are focused on having a healthy day, our mind starts choosing healthy options for us like eating healthy, exercising etc. Whatever is required for health, our mind starts choosing that.
3. We are sending out loud instructions to the Universe that I want to be healthy which are well supported back.
What else needs to be done to be healthy?
We need to keep our emotions healthy. Our emotions manage the energy of our body. A negative feeling creates problems and the problem increases when the emotion become permanent in our body. To manage our emotions is our responsibility. For example, who is rigid in his perspective might develop cervical pain. A person feeling lack of money may develop lower back problem. But if we are happy and do not allow to stay these emotions with us forever, we would be further healthy. In this case also the focus has to be again on staying happy and peaceful. The focus should be on healthy mind.
So be grateful for a healthy mind and body. be grateful for a healthy life.
