Let’s be interested in life….

One gentleman said that I am not happy. So you are not happy with something or you are not happy in general. He got confused and I asked if there is something particular in life which is upsetting you and rest of the things are ok or you are unhappy in general. He thought for a while and said that I am unhappy in general. That is a serious thing. When we are unhappy for one particular thing then it is a passing thing but when we are unhappy in general, then we need to seriously think about our life. It needs major over hauling. Let’s say if you are unhappy about your job, then you can either work on accepting the job better, making amendments or changing the job but if you are unhappy about life, it is very depressing. Then you start cursing your life. After that you get into self damaging mode and may even think of suicide. He said that yes, I have thought of that so many times. Not to commit suicide but its better if I die! But why it is happening? We do we become unhappy?
Because we are not interested in what we really want. We are not interested in life itself. If we ignore own life how would our life be a good one. Our life is our most ignored child. it is like a parents have 4 children and they put all the focus on 3 so what would happen to the 4th one? We are focused on people around us, we are focused on things, we are focused on job but we forget life itself. We forget our own life. So this 4th child gets spoiled. But aren’t these things that make our life? Yes they do contribute to our life but they are not life. We feel they are life. It reminds me of a small story. Once a group of students go to a teacher and ask him that why are all of us so unhappy? The teacher asked them to wait till he gets coffee. He got coffee in variety of cups and everyone started selecting a better cup. The person who was left with last cup was really sad about that. The teacher started laughing. He said that’s why we are unhappy. We are so focused on cup that we have forgotten to enjoy coffee which is same in every cup. Life is same. We are so focused on so many things thatw e have forgotten life. 
So how should we focus on life?
Well ask yourself what has given you most happiness? (May be small moments with the family, rain, some jokes etc) But what do we think about most?
Who are important to us (May be spouse, children parents and some friends and we are full of complaints for them, we fight with them)
So how do we feel when we are not healthy? We feel like cursing and we ignore health a lot.
We never bothered to ask, what is my life, how do I want my life to be happy, what makes me happy, what makes me healthy, what makes me a loving person, how do i feel in various situation, what is the purpose of my life, why am I here in this present moment, what this moment is bringing to me….
More and more we would be focused on life, more and more our life would start improving….so let’s focus on life and let’s focus with love.
