Two girls were arguing over fasting. I asked them why are you arguing? One said that the only way to get God is by fasting and I follow that. I have been fasting for many years. So have you found God and she said that I have my own experiences. fair, but have you found God and she could not give a confirmatory answer. I asked the second one and she sad that I believe in God but I do not believe in anything. I feel he would be around. So have you found God and the answer was sill not. No one saw God, what we have heard of him is in books or in stories. Whatever we have heard of is someone else’s experience passed over ages which got changed everytime it was passed on to the next generation.
So can we get God by fasting? Yes if you believe so.
Is God everywhere? Yes if you believe so.
Can we get get without fasting? Yes, if you believe so.
How can both be true? To prove someone right, why someone else has to become wrong? Why both cannot be right? Why only my path is the right kind of approach if all the paths are leading to same destination.
Then what is God? Everything! Or let’s say we shall ask, what is not God? God is everything and pure love. everything here is pure love. Everything is a part of big energy system and this energy itself is love. This is the energy of love. This energy is changing, transforming from one form to another with our thoughts and intentions. It can take any form, even the form of devil or all the wars. How can energy take the form of war? Well, it is like two siblings who love each other but they do fight. So the fight also is expression of their relationship. Similarly, the war here is an expression of same. Everything is flowing with love. If it is not love, then it is not god. that is the absence of God. it is like night is absence of sunlight. Similarly, whatever is not love is the absence of that divinity and love.
So whatever we are doing on the name of God and is not making us feel love actually is the absence of God. So if we are going through pain and we feel love for God, we are on the right path. But while going through pain, if we are not feeling love, instead we are feeling helpless and we feel why do i have to do this one the name of God then yes, it is absence of God. And the beautiful thing is we do not have to do anything to prove our love for God. We just have to accept him with love, we have to express our love. He is always there, most kind, most loving, most generous parent who has created everything with love. Who has created everything as a part of him. We do not need any proof for him. We know it, he is there.
So follow love to follow God.
