There was a self made businessman. He always believed that people who are laborers have no desire to improve their lives and they are not good workers. if they would have worked sincerely, they would also rise to glory and have a good life. He had more than 1000 workers working for him but he always looked down at them. His mother always told him that you should be grateful to god for giving you such success and he always said if there is a God, he should on poor’s side as well. One day he had an encounter with God so that he could encounter his true divine self. He was supposed to make a huge payment to bank or else bank would confiscate his properties. He tried everything and nothing worked. After few days, when he was giving up, he felt he had no other way of trying, his moment of surrender came. His ego died. he started crying and prayed. He said that lord fate of 1000 people depends on me. Still he had an ego, that it depends on me this is what his voice told him. You still think that those 1000 people depend on you. He was shocked but he kept praying. He said please take care of them. Please guide me how I can take care of this situation. The voice again said that, how you can take care of the situation. it was like his ego had to die completely. Finally he said that God please take care of all of us. We all are dependent on you. You have been taking care of all of us. His moment of surrender gave him strength to try everything once again. But he asked, was it to bow me down? That is again ego talking, that it is happening to break him down. Finally, he felt lots of love in his heart. he did not know from where this love was coming. This love was guiding him, comforting him. It said that, we all are made up of pure love and our ego separates us from who w are. Love is the true strength. Follow everything again with love. He did same and this time, he was able to arrange funds.
After this, he did not talk about I, he talked about we. He was a compassionate person. he did not say that they do not like to work, he always felt that they work very hard. There was a shift from I to we.
The ego died and love rose. Weaknesses died and strength flowed in. The strength which came from divine. Strength which he had never felt before. Something which he felt was always with him. He did not know he could be that strong.
We all have such moments where we feel despite of doing everything we cannot do anything else. It seems like all the fears are manifesting. It feels like the worst is manifesting. But the moment of surrender gives us strength to fight all odds. to sail through everything. It helps us in meeting our true strength which is coming from divine. Which is coming from own divine self because that is where God resides. That part is of God inside us.
Live in surrender, live with your divine self.
