Two incidences happened.
In the first one, a gentleman went to sign up a deal for millions to US and came back. The other party treated him lavishly and offered many things. He somehow, did not get convinced and came back without signing up the deal. I asked him that why you did not sign the deal, when everything looked so perfect? He said that, the other party said many things but I did not feel the honesty. I do not have any regret that I have lost a big deal or I will not make any profit. After few days, another company signed up the deal and within one year, they suffered huge losses because of the deal.
One lady was crying that her husband had hurt her so much. Her husband came and stood on the door and kept looking at her. She woke up to him and said that I have forgiven you. After that they both started crying and I asked her, how do you know he was genuine? She said that first time in her life she saw that look in his eyes. He was genuinely sorry. She could feel it. he wanted to be with her. He was feeling so sorry that he could not even speak. She made it easy by saying I have forgiven you.
In both the cases I realized the power of honesty and love in both business as well as in personal life.
Whatever comes from heart reaches to heart and whatever comes from mind goes above the head. Often we say it is business but business also is run by the people who have hearts. So be genuine in whatever you are saying and doing.
