One girl was getting ready as one prospective groom was coming to meet her. She wanted to look her best. Since childhood she had heard that she was one of the prettiest girls born. The guy came to her and asked her few things as in general discussion. He asked her that how many servants she would want to have and how they have to work under her? She was off balance as she had never heard of such a question. She replied saying it’s a bad species and they have to be dealt strictly. When the guy was leaving he felt she was a monster. For her human beings were species not humans!
There are many such examples where we are too focused on external beauty, thanks to some media and upbringing, thanks to British legacy too as they stressed too much on fair complexion. But honestly, real beauty comes from love. When you have a kind and loving heart. I remember once I met a person whose face reflected lot of darkness. Something about him was very repulsive. Later on I found out that he was doing many unscrupulous things. On the contrary, I saw an old lady who was hardly able to hold a glass of water, her skin was sagging but many children were playing around her. She got some sweets, gave it to them and was telling stories. Suddenly, a rag picker child was crossing the street and wanted to listen to the story, gauging that she called him and asked him to join. She gave him sweets also. Rest of the children were uncomfortable but she explained them with love that how everyone is a form of God and hurting anyone is like hurting God. The love in her eyes was making her attractive and the most beautiful one around.
It’s a beautiful life and we all are made very beautiful. Every creature on this Earth is made with lots of love. Without love we are not beautiful. We need to see that we retain our beauty. We rain the love we are made up of. We also need to see same love in everyone else too. If something is hurting you, it would hurt others too. It’s not about comparison when you put yourself in others shoes but about understanding others emotions truly! Be kind, be loving. Be beautiful.
