Five years back you said this and you did not remember my birthday.
Two years back you did not invite my daughter for your daughter’s party.
When your mother was alive she always used to taunt at me.

There are numerous examples where people have been suffering because of past issues.

We do not like to release pain. We like to talk about it again and again. We want people to sympathize with us. We want to prove that whole world had been bad and how I have suffered and how strong I have been. We just do not want to let go of pain. We start finding strength in that pain.

But why it is important to release?

So that you can have better space for things. So that you can set yourself free. So that you can stop suffering. Whenever you repeat that in mind, the story expands and you repeat the experience again. For your mind it has happened again.

So how shall we release it?
1. Follow forgiveness. Forgive people, forgive events, forgive God, forgive life. Its not a moment, its a process. So practice everyday. Till when? Till the time you feel any kind of emotions for whatever is hurting you.

2. Ask yourself what you have gained after that. Often painful situations come to give us better lessons and make us better.

Take a decision. It no longer hurts me. I am full of love. I let it go. I release whatever is hurting me.
