She was a friend from different faith. I invited her for a Hindu festival and she denied. She said that you perform Hindu customs so I will not come to your place during a festival. I asked her where does it matter and she said that it is against her religion. I do not have to argue with anyone’s faith. But I wonder where is God?
Is her god different than mine? Would she feel bad (Her ego) or her God feel bad? If she would feel bad then it’s a different thing but can God ever feel bad? We have always heard that God is one. Then how can God feel bad for her visiting me during festival?
This incidence made me wonder about God again. And the answer I got is I am you and you are me. You are not separate from me. But then why do people create this duality and the answer was because they do not know that they are a part of me, they do not know that they are not separate from me. Once they would know, they would not discriminate.
How am I not separate from you? And the answer is I am not separate from anyone or anything. i am there in everything or I am everything. I am the water, I am the Sun, I am air, I am all the animals, I am this Universe. Similarly, you are me, so are also this universe. Like wise everyone is a Universe.
But then why do we see everything separately and the answer is because we are living the illusion of duality. It is not a reality. It is the illusion of reality. Once we become aware of this illusion, the duality dissolves and oneness appears. Where this whole Universe is one.
I am you and you are me!
