Whenever we are starting a business, we make a project report..even if it’s not on papers, we calculate the returns on investment. So that is business and fair enough, it is your hard earned money and you want to be assured of the returns. However, if it’s limited to business, its fair, the moment it starts making you as a person, you become the biggest loser in life. The way things are moving, everything is becoming like a business investment. And why should I blame modernisation, that is how the value system is and then they blame the next generation. Even centuries back when a child was born parents would start telling him that you will carry my legacy, you will serve me in child oldage, and even Ramayana revolves around same concept. So what is it, you are bringing in a child because you want him to take care of you in old age. This is no love, it is a business investment and I am sorry to say, here you are wrong not your child as when he decides to be a free soul, you blame him as next generation. Nothing has changed ever since, except that now they are not ready to accept it as an obligation. If you would have realized that child is the personification of the most beautiful thing in the world called as love and that’s how it is suppose to be nurtured, you would not have made a victim out of him. You cannot bring up a child under obligation because if you do that, you are passing on your legacy of investment. Do not bring him up with a thought that you want in return, he is love personified and nurture that love, so that it can spread love. Do not make love as a business.
The moment we start doing things we want in return, I always say, these days even charity isn’t done without expectations. People want the recognition and fame and they want that people should know that I have donated. Same people will spend thousands on one meal and would give 10 Rs in the temple as they know no one would get to know, how much I had put in that small box. Sh…..Chi….everything is done as a business.
Just imagine, the things which you receive by the creation and it starts taking account of it, you will have no place to live. It never told you, that’s why you are unaware of the gifts which you received. Still this creation is trying to fulfil all your desires. You are a part of it and learn to realize that, you need to realize that you are a part of ever giving creation and you need to learn to do things without expecting a ROI as it’s not a business, its life.
