Everyone is so passionate about love and everyone wants love…we want to love and we want to be loved..nothing is better than being in love…but the good question is are people actually loving? They just expect, everyone wants a true love and want someone to die in love for them..we expect and expect and when we have someone special we want that person to love us our way..we get blinded to that fact that everyone has own way of loving and expressing…why do we want someone else to love ourselves our way…have we loved ourselves the way we expect ourselves to be loved…sounds selfish isnt it? Take a plastic hollow ball and to make it strong start wrapping it with balloons..it feels strong after few layers and you are happy..but the truth is they are just the layers, core is still hollow…does not matter how many layers you wrap it up with it would still stay hollow. Thats what happens when you dont love yourself unconditionally, you try to wrap up yourself with all the layers around you but the core is still devoid of love. That hollow ball cannot provide support to anything else too as it does not have any strength. It would just expect everyone to love around you..
However, whenever you love someone you need to give love to feel true love, but how can you give love when you do not have love…the core is empty, the source from where the love could flow is empty…so it just would want to suck love. However, if you love yourself unconditionally you would be so much full of love that it would flow around..you would give love to everyone unconditionally as its flowing out..you have no control over it..when a river is over flowing, it has no control over itself..it starts spreading out…when you love yourself unconditionally..you spread out..you become river of love and then you are able to give love unconditionally…you do not have option in that case as you have become love yourself and that becomes your true nature and when you become love…you have no insecurities that what if that person does not love you back or what if that person leaves you..what if that person does not love you as much as you love that person..every insecurity will get washed away in the flood of love…so to love people around you and the one you want to love..you need to love yourself unconditionally so that you can love others also unconditionally…
Thats why they say..you surrender in love…love is to give not to expect…
