One gentleman said that I want to improve my health. How can I do that?
Together we were going somewhere and he was during the car. On the way, we stopped at a gas station to get petrol for his car. I asked him, what if we add water/kerosene oil or mustard oil in car instead of petrol? He started laughing and said that I am such a novice. It would kill the car. Fair enough! So car is so important we cannot dare to add anything other than what has been told. Then why do you think your body is any less important. So if you add anything else than healthy food like fast food etc, it would kill your body. We expect our body to be healthy and then we eat something else. How can it be possible? Food is the fuel for our body. It has to be what keeps it healthy rather than what spoils it. So add natural herbs, natural food etc.
Now the next question is, what if we do not use our car for sometime? And then few days? And then months. It would start getting rust and becoming junk. Similarly, if we do not exercise/walk or do something to keep our joints moving, our body also start becoming junk.
Now, the next question was, what do you think about old age? He said, oh, we get old, we lose our body, we stop hearing, we need medical help, and so many things like this. Who told you this has to happen? And he was silent! Everyone has been telling us same and then same thing happens. Why can’t we see ourselves healthy till the last day of our lives. Why can’t we see our selves working till the last day. We need to think that we have to use this body and work more and more. We need to tell our eyes that you have to see this world more and more gear up instead of telling, I can’t see more. More and more, we would create health images in our mind, more and more we would see our health improving. We need to stay positive rather than staying in fear. So what do you mean by feel healthy?
Well our body directly responds to our emotions. Our emotions create or consume energy. Every positive emotion creates a positive energy and every negative emotion depletes energy. depending on various types of emotions, our various body parts are affected. When we are emotionally low, our immune system gets low and we may get cold and cough. When we are rigid, we get cervical. When there is too much of ego, knees become weak. Any similarly, every emotion impact us and our body. So the solution is do not take things to heart, solve your emotions and live a healthy life. Be happy and you would see health improving. I remember once I met a very smiling girl and she shared, she does not even keep regular medicine like for head ache fever etc. She said that I do not remember when I had last medicine. She was genuinely happy and her smile was infectious.
