Since the time we are born, we are taught to protect us, protect our ego and protect whatever is around us and in this protection we learn to hold back us, we feel scared, we feel insecure, what if someone takes away anything from us and in this fear we are unable to give 100% of ourselves, that also happens because we are so attached to our future that we feel what if the results are not as what we have expected and thats why also we are unable to give our 100%, we think, what if I give all of what I have and dont get what I expect in return? Now first of all we need to understand few things here, giving 100% of yourself is like getting rid of all the fears, ego, expectations and any kind of doubts which will set you free, free from any kind of boundation which is stopping you from what you can be. Once you are 100% free then only you can enjoy absolute freedom, until then one or other thing would keep holding you back. So when you give 100% it is for you not for others. Whatever happens, happens now and it would set you free now, no one knows what would happen in future. Second thing, until you give 100% you can never know what all you can get in return, if you hold back, the space would never be free and you can never receive 100%. So to receive 100% whether its love or success, you need to give 100%, it can always rise from zero, as there would be an absolute space.
