To forget and forgive is for yourself not for others.

Everyday we go through lots of situations. We meet many people and most of them cannot act as per us. When they dont behave as per our expectations and when other people dont behave as per us, we feel angry and hurt. Now first of all they are not responsible for hurting us, our expectations are responsible and our feelings are responsible. Still lets assume, we are blaming others for hurting us and we are unable to let go off it. We do not want to forgive people for hurting us. What happens then. Who is holding that anger? Who is being hurt all the time by thinking of that experience again and again? Who is being burnt? I understand it is difficult to forgive, but its necessary because its hurting no one else but us. All the time we keep living in that moment which does not exist and we keep punishing ourselves, we question, we cross question, and we answer, we build justification. forgiving might be difficult but its one time act, but if you dont forgive, its its to hold the anger but its permanent or its hurting us till the time you dont forgive. Its always there. Any thought triggers it, any new experience triggers it, you might not need a trigger, may be its always there..its always burning you and eating you up. You dont forgive for someone else, you forgive for yourself so that you can release the negative energy inside you, so that you can start living in present. So that you can experience the love which Universe is showering on you. We may go through worse but life is about moving on. We may go through living hell but life is still beautiful, it depends on what we choose to look at. When you forgive, you ahve chosen to look at the beauty. You have chosen to look at love.
