Does not matter whether you wear silk or cotton, what matters is how you feel inside.

I am not saying i dont buy expensive clothes or I dont like to spend on expensive things. I do..however, things would become bad in life when I would feel my existence or individuality depends on this. Few days back, I went to a family function and I was very tired after my entire day’s counselling and work. So instead of wearing some uptight clothes I decided to wear a casual Tee and pants. Everyone was staring at me like I was not wearing anything. Few infact asked me if I plan to goto bed directly at the venue. I told him, I did not know if my clothes were more important than my presence. Then they must specify in the invitation, may be I would have sent my clothes there instead of sparing out time for the event. Anyway, does not matter to me, what matters is..if we look at, what is the purpose of clothes? To cover up ourselves and when we are cold, we take a warm clothing. However, over the time, we have associated clothes with our ego and pride and they have come far beyond their purpose. Same way, the purpose of eating food is to give you energy, does not matter, if you are eating in a decorated plate or in a paper plate or there is no plate at all. You are getting food be thankful for that. You need a bed to sleep, and you dont get sleep from bed. All these things are to support you but they do not matter. What matters is how you feel inside, a person wearing a silk dress if is not a good human, I would not like to be with that person, infact I would like to shield my energy from him/her. If you do not feel love and compassion, does not matter how much costly are your clothes, the fact is you would still not be suitable enough to be called as human. So whatever you wear make sure you wear your humanity, you wear love and you feel that love. After that does not matter what you wear, you will be most respected and loved.
