For last few days we all are reading and talking about rape cases.
Since then the rape cases have increased. Though we are asking for
severe punishment but somewhere we are creating that. Our mind does not
register negative words like we do not want rape in the society, so mind
registers we…want..rape…and the person whose mind is not immune to
such henious act, his emotions will be triggered and he would commit
such crime. I am not in favour of convicts, infact i want them to be
punished publicly so that no one else dares to commit such act.
Sometimes I have sat and cried that how much pain one girl had to go
through. I pray that atleast now her soul rests in peace which she did
not get when she was alive. In all this, the fact remains still same,
how to create a safer society and does not matter how many laws you
impose, if the mindset of the people is not changed it would still stay
same. When we talk about crime, we are creating the energy of crime and
when we focus on love, we craete energy of love. In 1993, in washington,
a group of participants started doing transcedental meditation for 2
hours twice a day for 2 months and the crime reduced by 25%. They
created the energy of peace and harmony. In India earlier the crime rate
was low because its spiritual energy was very high. Now its spiritual
back bone is broken and the crime is shooting up. If you want to create a
nation based on love and create love instead of elimiting crime. When
you would create love and peace, crime would anyway diminish. The nation
would be so peaceful that you will not even need law. Or may be its in
favor of law because if there is no need of such law and order then what
would lakhs of cops and politicians would do? I am not debating about
that but I do know, to create a nation of love we need to focus on love.
