Nobody
has ever been able to give anything to anyone. We are here to learn and we all
share the resources. We all share like everyone else does too. Someone has
access to extra resources because he/she has proved that he is capable of
handling the responsibility and he would share with everyone with
responsibility. When we feel we are giving something to someone, or whenever we
have abundance, we share, because joy of giving is above joy of receiving and
without giving, joy of receiving is incomplete, we need to remember few things,
1. We can never hold back any resources. The energy
needs to be in circulation. If you try to lock down something, it would be shy
of coming to you next time. So let the abundance also flow. Moreover, when you
give away something, you become source of same. Whether its love or prosperity
and same thing always returns to you as everything wants to merge back to its
source. So if you become source of abundance, abundance would like to merge
into you.
2. When you give something, give without expectations.
When we give something with an expectation of returns, we are not truly giving,
we are trading. Trading brings the trade not the joy of giving.
3. Always be clear about your purpose and intention of
giving. If you had an intention of giving and helping then stick to that. If
you have other intention like you should be acknowledged, then operate from
that perspective. However, an intention to help is the honest intention of
giving. Everything else becomes a centre of ego.
4. Give without being judgemental. We do not know who
is more deserving of what. We can only give and that is in our hands. However,
when we know the resources would be abused instead of being used, do not give.
Like do not give for a pub or things like that which are not good for the
society.
While
doing so, we also need to realize the biggest truth, nobody ever gives anything
to anyone. We just have this ego, that I am giving and the other person is
receiving. When this entire Universe is one, and we all are one, when there is
no difference between me and you or me and him, then there is no giver or no
taker. When we live with this awareness and consciousness, we are able to
realize the consciousness. A right hand does not feel proud when it puts
something in left hand. When we all are a part of one body and its one
consciousness, how can we give anything to anyone. We need to remember this, we
are a part of the illusion which is covered by ego, the moment the curtain is
lifted, we realize its one consciousness in different forms, when its one
consciousness, then in reality there is no giver or no taker or you are the
giver and you are the taker too. When you give something to yourself, you
cannot have ego of giving. You are just a part of everything.
