Whenever I asked or angels, why are we born and the only answer I always get is to love. And when I ask, how can someone make you happy and the answer again is by giving love. What will make us happy, when we receive love. And the answer to every such question I get is love.
It reminds me of a story from the life of famous saint Kabir. Kabir never sat and worshiped God. He never chanted anything. He used to love and serve people unconditionally. One day Narad Muni came and told him that I am going to meet God and do you have any message and Kabir said No. He liked never cared for anything else other than loving people. So Narad came back and said that today I saw the list of people who love God and your name was down below. Kabir smiled and did not say anything. After few days Narad dropped in again and said I am going to meet God, do you have any message and Kabir said no. So He came back and said this time I saw the list of people whom God loves most and your name was on the top.
I don’t know if the story is true but the message is clear and true. If we love, we are loved by God because this is what we are here for. This is the way to heaven on earth. If we cannot love, we will have no God. There is no difference between love and God. Love is the guiding force of God. Without love, giving love, receiving love, feeling love, we have no element of divine in us. Love brings divine to us. Love means God. Whenever we experience love, we experience God. If we are devoid of love, we are devoid of divinity.
So what shall we do?
Bring love in work, bring love while dealing with others, bring love when serving others, bring love while talking to others.
Be love!
