I often get this question. How to decide what is right and what is wrong? And don’t we all know that? haven’t we been taught those values in the name of Dharma? Don’t we all know, deep down in our hearts, what is the right thing?
And then there comes a deciding moment where we get a little selfish and take a decision which we should not have taken as per the voice of the values on the face and we develop a guilt of doing that somewhere, we know, we did something wrong and then finally maybe sooner or later, we fall flat on the face. And then we wonder why did we do that!
We are here to learn and we are here to gain that wisdom. We are here to learn about the world and its values and spiritual values and divine values. God himself came here to follow the tough path that may come. Ram left his palace and every luxury to show the path of the truth and commitment. Krishna left Mathura and established Dwarka to protect everyone and to show, that it does not matter what people say. Choose your priorities. Jesus sacrificed himself for love and peace.
Various people came who gave their lives to guide us, serve us, and protect us. They showed us how true power shall be used. It shall be used to serve rather than to rule.
It’s never worth compromising the values. Let them guide you. let them be the beacon of light when it’s dark. Follow them. It’s always said “धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः”. Values are Dharma. You follow them and you will be protected. Your truth will protect you and guide you.
