Met an old lady. She was almost 75 years old. She was peaceful and smiling. She looked healthy but still she was sitting on the bed all the time. She shared that she was unable to walk much. She visited her son and his family, twice a year and she lived in a village. She helped whomso ever she could and told stories to small children. She was feeding birds and the street dog. So we started a discussion and she shared her life time of wisdom.
She shared that if you do things yourself, you will never have to complaint that someone is not doing something for you. If you have faith, you will not worry, whether God is taking care of you or not. If you love your family, even if they are far, you are peaceful. Because you know love is there. If you are taking care of things around you, things will take care of you. You do not have to be insecure, what will happen to you in the future. This world is about giving and doing. If you look at what you receive and forget what you have given, you will always feel there is not enough. If you start looking at what you are giving, then you will never feel you have not received enough. You will always feel it’s more abundance.
Find the source of everything inside you. The love, the gratitude, the faith, the work and you will feel abundant in every way. But if you wait for everything from outside, you will never find it enough. Do more than you can, give more than you can, love more than you can and have faith more than you can.
