We do not need to run for the acceptance of others. We just have to be who we are and accept who we are.

I have hurt my parents, I hate myself. (I understand the guilt, but please do not hate yourself, instead love your parents more)

I am fat, I do not like my body. ( What is the purpose of this body?) Are you healthy, do everything to take care of your health.

I am not beautiful. No one will ever love me. (Do you love yourself for who you are. You have the qualities, focus on them, and you will find someone who will love you for that. Why do you want someone, who loves you for your beauty?)

Whatever I do, it is never enough. My parents never love me and never approve of me. (Just do your best and stay positive. You will find your way. Everyone is good for something)

I am not that successful financially. I have not earned enough in life. (Everyone has something and no one has everything. Be grateful for your blessings rather than feeling bad about what others have).

We all have something which we can love ourselves for and we all have something which we do not like ourselves for. We need to accept own self completely as we are and we will never have to worry about some one else’s approval. I asked a lady, who was having a panic attack that why was she so stressed. She said that she was going to a family party and she wanted to look the best But she did not know what to wear. And even if she was best dressed and she would receive 100 compliments, what difference would that make? I would like myself more. Then get up and look into the mirror and like yourself right now for who you are and what you do not what you have worn in a party.

If you want to be happy and peaceful and contended, be happy with yourself.
