He did not have work for two years. He was unwell for 5 years. His children started talking back and his son tried running away from home. He blamed himself for everything. He blamed for not earning and family’s financials needs. He blamed himself for his son’s behavior. He felt that if he had been earning and strong, his son would have listened to him better. But the reality was, it was not in his hand if he had fallen sick. If work was not coming his way, even after he tried everything, he could not blame himself. He was lost and did not where to go next in life. He asked me and sometimes, no one has solution. When no one has a solution in life, let him find a solution. He cried and he surrendered to God. He thought he was a non-believer of God, but more he surrendered more his faith restored. He simply started expressing gratitude in his mind. He believed that God will take care of him and yes, God did. His faith was restored and he was grateful. His health and work started improving and within one year, he was back on his feet in everyway.
We have a lot of egos. We have ego even when we are talking To God. We somehow, feel it’s a great thing if we have not asked him for anything. And if we have lost the way, we feel hurt, when we have to ask him for anything. We feel we are incapable, if we had to surrender.
No, let me clarify, we become stronger not weaker when we surrender. We surrender, we find love. He created us, he gave us strength, he nurtured us, and he gave us all the qualities. HE gave us the opportunities, and he gave us the experience. When he has given everything, what’s the point of holding the ego. When we surrender, we realize, he has done all, and he will do all. With ego, we only separate ourselves from reality. But when we surrender we find love, and we find him. So let him love you, let him guide you.
