When a tree gives oxygen, it does not count how much it has given. It does not count how many fruits it has given. We may count, how much we have received. What if a tree refuses to share the fruits? The branches will break from the weight of those. The tree may not be able to spread out it’s seeds through distributed fruits. The tree will not have space to grow more fruits. More energy will be spent on the rotten fruits on its branches. The tree will not be able to breathe more, if it stops giving out oxygen. Will it survive? I guess no. The sun will probably die with its own heat, if it stops releasing the heat. The clouds, if they stop giving us rain, they will burst with the weight of water. Everything in nature is dependent on giving. nature is giving and it is thriving. The nature is grateful when it gives.
We have been receiving and we are not grateful. When we give, we hold the ego and feel not grateful. We wonder why we shall be grateful if we are giving. We shall express our gratitude when we are reciving. Still we may not actually feel grateful.
Well, the good news is, when we give, the Universe is giving us an opportunity to thrive. It gives us an opportunity to grow. It gives us an opportunity to have more fruits. When we give, it protects us from rotting and cleansing our soul. It protects us from burning within and we feel peaceful. It helps us in receiving fresh air, and we can breathe better. If we do not give, we will not be able to take in fresh, and we will choke. For having an opportunity to give we need to know, that Universe has arranged many things and everything is made in codependency.
So whenever you have an opportunity to help anyone, a small child, an old person, a tree, anyone, be grateful and be happy, God has chosen you. Giving is a pleasure. Give with love. Give with gratitude. Well, Karma thing comes later. It definitely improves Karmic balance.
