A conversation with my five years old!
Where do we live? We live in God’s heart. Where does God live? HE lives in our hearts. She is sitting and spreading around things like colors and papers and toys and did not want to clean up. So we did not. And then she did not like that she had to step on a dirty floor. Mamma this house looks so dirty and yes it does. We must do the cleanup at the same time, so that, we can live in a clean house. Now, that was an enlightening moment for both of us. Mamma, so if cannot live in a dirty house, can God live in a dirty heart?
Absolutely not! And why shall we make him live in a dirty heart.
So what does make a heart dirty?
Something which is not love. First let’s understand, what makes a heart beautiful> What makes a temple inside us, where God starts living and likes to live on. Lots of love, happiness, kindness, where we help others. And what will make it dirty? Something that is not love and happiness and peace. What is that? Anger, guilt, jealousy, lack of kindness, when we hurt others emotionally or physically. These things when stay in heart, it starts making heart dirty. And then God would not like that. BEcause we also live in his heart, we also would not like that. So we start going away from ourselves.
So what shall we do?
We must create a temple inside. Where it is clean and loving. Where we are on the path of honesty and doing our karma. Where we respect others and help them.
So if we create a temple inside, would God be happy? Yes. And why shall we make God happy? So that in his heart we feel happy. We will not feel happy if we are at a dirty place. So nothing is done to please God, it is done so that we can be inside the temple. But how can we be in each other’s heart? That’s the biggest secret of this world. Because we are one. There is no difference.
