There was a stone lying on the road and my 4.5 years old daughter kicked it towards the side. I asked her, why did you do that, and she replied, mom it would have hurt someone. I smiled at her thought process and she smiled again. I asked her why are you smiling and she replied that it’s a nice feeling that I already helped someone. I am sometimes surprised at their answers and this time I was surprised too but I loved it.
I have so many stories to share, where people who were always angry, when followed the route of compassion and kindness, found solace and felt peaceful. Or people who were in depression, who when followed the route of compassion and kindness felt peaceful and happy. Also, people who were financially struggling, and they were also fearful, when followed the route of compassion, they felt peaceful and happy. Not to mention, that increased the flow of abundance. How? because when you are peaceful and happy, your vibrations start going up and it will start matching the vibrations of better things in life.
Why do we feel peace after following the route of compassion?
We all are connected. We all are one. We all have the same consciousness flowing through us. When someone else is in pain, we do not realize, we feel that pain. (Karmically, how it improves things, it’s well known). When we liberate someone of that pain, we liberate ourselves too. When we give pain to someone, we give pain to ourselves too, and without realizing this, we keep hurting ourselves. It is like if we put a burning match stick on one of our body part, we will feel the pain eventually.
Follow the route of compassion, if you really want to be happy, abundant and healthy too. yes, a positive thought process creates a healthy body.
