Whatever is the age, living a healthy lifestyle is never outdated.

Met a so-called new generation girl. When someone grown-up calls me aunty, I am kind of still absorbing the fact. So she was getting married and her mother wanted to talk to me before that. Now, getting married is just not about two people in love. It has always been accepting each other, each other’s families and lifestyles. So I asked her what was her lifestyle. Very proudly she said that she was a free spirit and no routine could bind her. It scared me. Which meant no discipline. So I asked her to explain. She shared that she would wake up anytime between 11-2 pm, will have her coffee, then she would call her friend and they both can have breakfast or lunch. Then they go out to meet other friends. In between, she took up a job but quit as it did not match her lifestyle. This is how her day goes and then she sleeps between 2-4 am.

I asked her about waking up early and she shared that it was so outdated. I was so old fashioned. I asked her if she was ready for the responsibilities and take care of a new family, her next answer was she was not so old fashioned that she would spend her life in the kitchen. Anyway, after a few days, she developed serious health issues and her mother asked her to contact me again.

I feel sad for such thought process. Where we are damaging our own lives. With age, I have learned the true meaning of health is wealth. If we are healthy, we can do 100 things and if we are not healthy, we would be irritated and we really cannot do what we really wanted to do. To really have a healthy body, we need to have a healthy mind too. And for all that recipie is same. It is ancient but never out dated.

Wake up early, do your exercise, do positive things, give positive feed to your mind, eat healthy and natural food, do all good work and sleep on time. If you want to do something for fun then do it. But everything else also is required.

Do not take your life and health for granted. It is one thing which we are always going to need. have a healthy life style. Be proud of that!
