Do good, think good and eat good and you will have a good life.

Someone at the age of 45 who recently had a doctor visit for some tid-bids called and asked how could she have a good life. She shared that she has seen many people catching many health issues at this age. First of all she wanted to know if she was late and the answer is we are never late to start improving and better the earlier.

So how can we have a good life?

The question is what do you mean by good life. Because it is a relative term and everyone has own definition. Someone might say that I have a good partner who supports me in thick and thin. Someone wants to have lots of abundance like a big house etc. Someone is thinking that I am at peace always and have a healthy body. It depends.

So what if I want all? Then efforts need to be put in from all the directions. Everything is interwoven. A person who is mentally and emotionally fit will have lesser health issues if he keeps the food habit and lifestyle in check. A person who has positive state of mind will have better health than a person who has a negative thought process. And then above all karma. A person in old age is having a healthy body means generally, he has had good karmas. He hasn’t harmed or done very bad for anyone. When people do bad and they intentionally do bad, generally they have a sick body towards the end of life.

So what’s the mantra here?

Do good, eat good and think good. Achcha khao, achcha karo, achcha socho and all will be good.

Achcha means healthy food like more of fruits, juice, no junk, waking up on time, sleeping on time, regular exercise etc. Achcha karo means help everyone, do not harm anyone, stay honest, speak truth and in your mind also think well of everyone.

And you will have a peaceful life, healthy body.
