Q: Sheetal do you believe iN god?
A: Do you believe in God?
No.
Question back: Then why do you want to ask me. Where does it matter, whether I believe in God or not!
Mmm..
Are you looking for an approval? Or you want me not to believe in after talking to you? Do you want to have an argument and then tell me you are right? But would that change my belief? Then why do you want to argue? Do you believe there is a power which is somewhere managing everything? Do you believe that miracles do happen? If millions of people have some faith in something, it means there is something.
Yes.
Then why do you want to believe there is No God? Would that satisfy your ego? Still deep down can you deby his existence?
No!
Then why do we need this conversation? If I believe in him, if I worship him inside me and in the temple also, which personifies him, what’s the problem? If I sing a song which praises him, if I accept that he is the power inside and outside me, what is the problem? Shall it hurt my ego? But when there is love, there is surrender, then there is no ego. If God does not hold ego against us, why shall we? If you do not want to believe in him, then do not, but why to argue? But then when we are down and stuck most in life, we can think only of him? Why can’t we hold his hand always?
Yes, I worship him. Yes, I go to temple. I know he exists in me. I know wherever I am, he is with me. Still I goto temple. It gives me peace. It strengthens my surrender when I bow there. It makes me smile when I see his power there. It makes me feel strong when I feel his love. Yes, it makes me realize more he is everywhere and in every form which has ever existed. We can make a small temple anywhere and we can feel his presence. It means he is everywhere. That small temple helps us feel his presence. that’s it. What’s the argument in that.
Do I respect all individuals? Yes and Do I care, yes. But then that compassion also comes from him. Ego blocks our compassion. It’s love for God, which makes us compassionate for everything which has existed. It’s like as a mother, I care for the toys also which are dear to my child. Because I know my child loves them. Similarly, everything is dear to us, because it’s dear to him.
Yes I love him!
